Meranti Island E-Government Master Plan: A Root Cause and SWOT Analysis

The government has established a development program for the of Information and Communication Technology with term e-government. implementation e-government in governance public services certainly requires use information communication technology (ICT) along reliable human resources to manage it. There is still reasonably high gap between EBGS maturity level central agency index, local challenge Meranti Islands Regency. To realize its vision mission, Regency made various efforts transparency, accountability, good governance, efficiency administration supported through ICT. purpose this research mapping ICT utilization data results identification obstacles that occur using GAP Analysis. analysis uses Root Cause Analysis (RCA) SWOT analysis. show based on analysis, 18 strengths, 19 weaknesses, 12 opportunities, thread ats application are obtained, which divided into 6 components. Based Analysis, it was found main problem caused by low capacity ICT, as well insufficient hardware/software requirements. For study study, can be concluded equipped used strategic planning implementing next fiveyears.
